Christmas Jumper Day – Friday 16 December 2016

This Friday 16 December 2016, all pupils are invited to come into school wearing a Christmas jumper, t-shirt, hat etc for a donation of £2. During Periods 1 and 2, pupils can opt into watching a Christmas movie “Jingle all the way” for a £1 donation.

These events are optional and pupils do not need to participate.  They can wear normal school uniform and also attend lessons during Periods 1 and 2 if they wish.

We will also be having a bake sale at morning interval so any donations of home baking would be gratefully received and can be brought or sent into school. Pupils can bring in money if they wish to buy cakes at break time.

All money raised goes to Save the Children.

On the same day, the Sutherland Youth Forum are attempting to break the Scottish record for the longest and most people doing a Strip the Willow and have asked all Sutherland schools to participate. We will be helping out their record attempt by arranging for this to happen at lunchtime. For anyone who wishes to participate there is a suggested donation of £1 and the money raised by that will be given to The Archie Foundation which supports sick children and their families across the whole of the North of Scotland.

See separate post for Strip the Willow.
