Youth and Philanthropy Initiative – THE FINAL!

On this Wednesday 14 December 2016, the school will host the final of our Youth and Philanthropy Initiative project.

This term S3 pupils have chosen a social issue which they feel passionate about and which they feel affects our local communities.  Working in groups, the pupils chose charities to represent in the grand final (on Wednesday).  Each group will present the case for their charity to an audience of school and community members as well as a panel of judges.

The winning group will win £3,000 for their charity to spend on helping people in our local community.

In the future, S3 pupils will take part in this fantastic initiative; the objective is to help them become compassionate and responsible citizens in our local communities.

he 3 charities being represented are: The Ceilidh House, Befrienders Highland & The Crocus Group.

Everyone in the community is invited to come along, see the presentations and support the pupils.
