On Tuesday (21 March), pupils from all 3 primary schools joined us for a visit from Commonwealth Silver Medallist (Judo).  Stephanie led the pupils in a session of circuit and fitness training before giving an inspirational talk at assembly about her life journey.

KLB Podcast – Preview of Episode 4

The KLB podcast series has been created as part of an elective option by students who hope to share news about the school and the wider community.  This week the group interviewed Stephanie Inglis when she visited the school.  The episode also features the first in a series of ‘staff choices’.

In addition to our SoundCloud spot, our podcast is being broadcast on Lochbroom FM on Thursday evenings and repeated on Fridays.

Red Nose Day

The school will  be taking part in Red Nose Day on Friday 24 March.  Pupils can wear red should they wish (or come to school in uniform as normal).  There will be an in-house talent show in the afternoon for house points.  Pupils are asked to donate £3 each to take part or watch.

There will also be a bake sale at morning interval.  We will be very grateful for any home baking sent in from parents.  Pupils should also  remember to bring extra money to buy baking.

Highland Befrienders

On Friday 3 March, a representative of the the Highland Befrienders’ Group visited the school and accepted a cheque for the money raised for the group at the school’s December concert. The Highland Befrienders were one of the charities chosen by S3 pupils in the recent Youth and Philanthropy competition.
