Vancouver Field Trip 4-11 October 2017

Thirty pupils and eight staff travelled to Vancouver for a very full week.  For part of the time we were guests of the Vancouver Police Department and participated in events in memory of Robert McBeath and viewed first hand some of the activities of the Vancouver Police Department.  We also spent the day at King Edward Secondary School and were honoured to participate in a traditional Canadian Thanksgiving Dinner hosted by the Vancouver Associated Presbyterian Church.  On our last night everyone had a brilliant time at a professional ice hockey game:  Vancouver Canucks vs Ottawa Senators.  We are very grateful to Vancouver Police Constable Alan Mah for looking after us and organising a full itinerary of activities.  On our free days we were ordinary tourists taking in the sights of Vancouver and enjoying a day trip to Whistler.
